BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
At Registration, all solicitor firms will be required to provide evidence of compliance with the Basic Entry Requirements, namely that the following policies and procedures are in place in their office:
- Policy regarding standards of professional conduct;
- Procedure for personal work and time recording;
- Procedure for case recording;
- Description of system of financial recording;
- Procedure for training and sample training record;
- Procedure for supervision of staff;
- Procedure for document control;
- Procedure for case review;
- Procedure for client reporting; and
- Procedure for complaints.
